These scales are fully 3d machined, contoured and textured. The solid Ultem scales increases the feel of quality over the hollow FRN/Nylon factory scales. The slimmer design reduces unwanted bulk on this model and makes for a sleeker more pocketable knife. In addition, this version has 940 style scallop milling down the length of the scales. The 3d milled texture pattern takes and excellent finish on Ultem, with very crisp clean lines, and provides lots of extra traction over the factory scales. As an added bonus, the transparent Ultem scales allow you to see the internal workings and liners of the knife. Scales ship with all hardware required for assembly.
