Progress Report
I have pretty much everything moved and 95% of construction finished. My books will remain closed for a few months yet. Right now I am only making scales to stock the store. I’m hoping to be able to keep titanium, carbon fiber, and a few colors of micarta and G10 in stock at all times. Obviously, availability will vary somewhat depending on material supply and demand for a given style/material/color. I am currently waiting on carbon fiber material, so I apologize that most of those are out of stock. Next week I’ll be working on some more G10 colors. I’ll also be making more titanium scales and testing a lot of new equipment and chemicals to significantly improve my anodizing and finishing processes. While that’s going on, I will also be rebuilding my website. It’s a real mess and I basically need to start over at this point. It should be much more efficient and make a lot more sense after. The last thing I’d like to do over the coming months is figure out a logo, packaging, instructional videos for assembly, all that stuff that I’ve always ignored since I was too busy making stuff. I may even purchase a laser to put logos on the scales (inside under the liners since I prefer the clean look).
Sorry that I am a solid 8 months behind on the move. Everything takes forever when you’re a one man business.
